Wishing you all a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS. This is one of my Xmas Gallery Windows & yes more Hares! Do call in and see me next year....
I have these lovely Christmas cards of the Three Hares of Chagford on sale in my Gallery, I also have many other Three Hares cards together with prints of the 17 Churches in Devon with this carving in their roof bosses. If you know of someone who is interested in this mystical subject they make great Xmas gifts. Plus I have Thee Hares mugs! Do pop along, I am open most days now till Christmas. Or contact me via my website www.devonsnatureinart.com
I took this picture of the wonderful Harvest Moon this week, it was so beautiful and an amazing orange colour looking as if it was lit from inside, and just so huge! It is an image I love to paint and have captured it quite well I think in my paintings of the Three Hares.
On Sunday we went to Widecombe-in-the-Moor to take more Trail leaflets to the church. I took this picture of the Three Hares boss in the church and the notice that is written about it which is interesting. We then had a fabulous cream tea at Higher Venton Farm which is only a short walk from the church just up the road past the Rugglestone Inn, a place I can really recommend.
The original oil paintings of the Seventeen Churches with the Three Hares symbols all beautifully framed are now for sale and can be seen in my gallery in Chagford "Ludgate Fine Art" or online in my website www.devonsnatureinart.com Please contact me if you would like to own one of these unique paintings
I now have these lovely mugs of the Three Hares of Chagford. You can either come and get them from my gallery in Chagford or I can send you one for £9.95 including P&P in the UK. Or through my website www.devonsnatureinart.com.
The Daffodils lining the path to St Michaels Church here in Chagford are a picture at the moment, if you doing the Three Hares Trail, now is a good time to come to see the two bosses in this beautiful church. Remember to bring a torch though as one is in a dark part of the roof and if you can't find them you can always pop into my gallery and I will tell you where to look!
